It took hours just to cut out & shape from 4MM steel plate; I didn't want any flex in it and I managed to effectively remove most of the middle to try & keep the weight down ~ Should be fine until the day I move the handbrake back then shifter. All in all a good use of £67 for everything on the project as it's a step in the right direction over a standard open turret selector. Billet inserts replacing rubber £10 - Nylon Knob £17 - Everything else £40.

Pmsl!! Another vote here for more pics of this car.

This is the HHMS one i fitted to my saloon, its a copy of the Quaife one. Made my own linkage rods up and routed it how i wanted it to avoid having to weld to the chassis any brackets.

Feralessssses cables look like tuthill/Cable craft ones
I had some made up to replace the VX cables when they failed years ago.

I did have them custom made - can't remember the company name - it was years ago !!

Cost me about 100 quid IIRC - I specified length and what ends I wanted which allowed me to fit rose jointed ends

The Vauxhall OEM cables were way too short for my requirements ;-)

Vauxhall wanted £250+vat + 3 month lead time for each cable on the vx :o
tuthill were £120 for the pair and a 3rd cable that wasn't long enough
