Supply and demand...all of us who used to own one, when we were younger, buying novas again to relive our youth.
    got married,had children, mortgages etc...
Now most of us, I speak for myself here, into our 40s and have a few quid to spare, have now decided that they want to relinquish that love affair with a car they used to enjoy driving. Let's be honest new cars are crap! So hence prices of bits become expensive as now rare and a lot of determined guys out there saying what the hell....
bit like escorts of a few years back...don't know about Peugeot 205 etc are they the same?

yes I agree as being 40 myself the age group messing about with the novas has changed I cant see the prices getting silly like the old mk1 mk 2 escorts though but you never no. Im kicking my self now as when I was rallying in the early 1990s, I was buying gtes and srs for bits and just scrapping them should have hung on to some bits now I think

I know. My mate stuffed his sport into a tree backwards. I should have just bought it all and stuck it in my garage. Would have been worth 10 times what I could have bought it for now...in bits....do you see those second hand gutter trims on eBay. Amazing!
