    tbh its probably going to be that

    a range extending hybrid is the way to do it, if you must.

    yeah, thats the future i reckon.
    something that once installed, doesnt need to be fueled. and isnt restricted to distance

    can you remember what hp/torque that 38 kw motor was ?

    the motor want 38Kw, the pack was capable of delivering 38Kw/h (ie 38Kw for an hour, or 19Kw for two hours and so on...)
    the motors were these http://www.yasamotors.com/products/yasa-750/

    out of the homebrew league
