    did anyone manage to pull the ball out your shaft in the end? i've been thinking about this post for weeks.

    Not yet I've now got the replacement one without ball bearing so I'll give the other to my friend who works a high end precision engineering firm from him to remove it and then up on ebay for sale.

    Whats the idea behind having the ball bearing in there anyway? sound like its something that some people do and others dont?

    It depends on which dizzy drive you have as to whether you need the ball bearing or not.

    Ive had a similar issue recently i aquired a c16se cam with ball bearing in the end i just knocked it further into the cam an shaved a lil off the end of the dizzy.
