^ Sorry. I have no spark on my nova saloon, with no warning it would not start. Done all the easy stuff, put a charge on battery,Made sure it had fuel, then check for spark there was nothing tried another good plug no joy. OK so i then tried inside my dizzy all seems to be fine contacts all good so i bought a brand new coil. As above i have fitted it but still no spark. I have put new earth leads on engine to be sure..Changed all spade connections but still no go. At the moment as cold as it is i am chasing a black wire i have not checked...IT goes up my pasenger inner wing and into my dash area. MK2 Nova Saloon 1.6 8v Fitted. I will fire some pictures up if this will help. Would this be ignition live.

Are you saying that because no one replied to your post?

The problem was in your question.
You didn't state where the connections were on the 4spades on the coil, or if it had been running properly in the first place.

it wasnt so much a question, more a list of words.
    its like saying
"my engine wont start. It has some spark plugs, some hoses and some wires. This is pretty normal right?"
