Brilliant work, I wish Id of been able to find repair panels instead of making them from scratch. I understand what you mean, it takes twice as long to remove someone else's bodge and repair it than it would of done to do it properly in the first place. Keep up the good work

Over due update, got the left hand side inner wing out

This there was some attention needed on the wheel arch

    Got it patched up

Then got the inner wing welded in

    And flitch panel back on

Then moved on to removing front panel and cross member which revealed some work required on bottom of chassis legs

And did drivers side while on with it as it showing signs aswell

With the front panel out it made is easier to access the patching needed on the chassis legs in the wheel arch

    Drivers side

    And passenger side

Currently on with putting front panel in and mocking it all up with lights, bumper, grill before welding it up which is taking some time.

Also managed to purchase another shell with good rear legs so will be chopping that up soon too.

    Great progress!

Question - Was the battery tray repair panel GM or reproduction? Where did you source it from?

    Keep up the good work.

Cheers lads, soon have the front end ticked off.

Kev, it's a klockerholm repair panel, comes quite a bit bigger than the piece I put in. Can't just find where I got it from, will find invoice and let you know, carbodypanels.co.uk do them though. It did take a bit of work to get it to fit right but just patience as with and repair panel.
