shurley a manual rack would be better, less weight less to go wrong and a better feel of the road

On some events like a single venue event theres alot of like 90 into 90s tight and twisty try going lock to lock with it its not that easy yes you can use handbrake but for the sake of a little weight with the eps column its worth it in the long run.
even most of the mk2 escort run the corsa c eps and they can do 50% steering on the rear. Just makes life eaiser

Steering colum and support brackets, ecu and plugs, aftermarket controller.
what ratio of rack do you use?

Aye, usually the corsa B with epas ran a 2.7 ratio, a standard nova is about 3.8 so i guess a standard corsa one will be similar.

Even upgrade to a quaife 2.2 if you have the cash

But is that going to make the steering lighter surly thats just cutting down the lock to lock which i dont mind but just steering will still be heavy aswell forgot to add i do run 15" rims. I no the bigger rims wont help and ovs the semi slicks / nobblies but i cant go lower rim size due to the big brake size thats why i just thought corsa c eps should make things a bit eaiser

The lower the lock to lock turns the heavier it gets
that's why you fit power assist, with a manual controller you can set how heavy or light you want the steering to feel.

Imo there is absolutely no point in fitting epas and retaining the standard ratio rack.
