U can take the washer or nut off from behind the alternator pulley wheel and refit the wheel to bring it in abit but the belt is off set abit and the cam belt cover will need cutting abit to stop the belt rubbing, mine been ok for 5k miles, ( it's an option )

*edit. Sadly i can't find any photos from when my alt was done. But both pulleys where shorten till they had maybe 1mm above the level of the belt and the main shaft was cut down by at least 5+mm.
These look similar to what came with my tie bar lowering brackets. I presume the distance between the bolt holes on those spacers are equal to that between the bolt holes on the suspension arm, albeit of a slightly smaller hole diameter? If so, then they look as near to perfect as I will get. The only thing you don't mention is where you got them; and if they're not an off the shelf item, did you have them made? If you have the dimensions of the spacers, i.e., height, width, length, that would be very helpful, as I will just order some aluminium blocks at the correct size and drill the holes accordingly to fit the bottom of the arms.

*Edit: are these the above spacers you used? http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/Anti-Ro...-Kit-Nova.html; or these ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anti-roll-...p2054897.l4275

That's a useful maneuver should all else fail to work, Maddukeman

    Sorry didn't see your reply.

Yes the blocks in the photo are for lowering the ARb, but they work perfectly for dropping the tie bars down. I had to redrill one hole they are central in the tie bars.

Guess they were hosted on photoscumbucket? They are charging for 3rd party hosting, at $400 most are moving to other hosts.

See this, quoted from the thread at the top of most pages...

As you've seen alot of the linked photos from photobucket don't work.
This can nova be fixed by adding in

    " ~original "

between the jpg and the [img]

This hack makes the images show again.
Now i've been trying to edit a few threads, but i cant do them all, so please please these and edit your threads as you see fit.

    Love and kisses Ben
