    Default Mk2 Dash Upgrated Speakers

Anyone know of any uprated speakers that will fit inside Mk2 Nova Dash? Standard ones are terrible.

    Cheers

any 4" ones really as long as they're not too tall, be careful with big wattage though because they can rattle loose

Anything worth listening to wont fit, the magnets will foul the bulkhead.

Passenger one is vibrating like hell even when its not loud so I guess it's just gave up after all the years, was just wondering what I could upgrade to, not anything crazy!

I had to go to some fairly extreme measures to get decent 4" ones into my Mk2 dash.

Basically I hacked all the material holding the original speakers in place
Took a hammer and dented the panel behind the speaker holes to allow fitment
Fabricated speaker mounts and welded them into the panel itself - no physical mounting to the dash so no rattles

I just made kickwell pods for 4" speakers. 5's can be done also.
