I'm a while away from a test start, I'm still preping the bay at the moment and I need to find a new f15cr gearbox.

dont worry, im not trying to rush you

i know what you mean tho, were all too busy to dedicate the many hours necessary. especially at the moment, with the short days/lack of light, and the ice and snow on its way.

ive got a few things i wanna do to my car too, but unless its an emergency, im not gonna bother till spring time

Only a small update, I started out the day with the intention of removing the underseal from the front wheel arches, about ten minutes in i found some tin worm hidden under the underseal, access wasn't to bad as it was also in the battery tray, lucky I caught it early.

    Ignore the dodgy garage trainers

    And all repaired

The welding isn't perfect but its strong and will do, nothing the grinder wont sort.

I've done loads more that ill update later including two rust free doors i picked up

Feeling really disheartened at the moment, found some rust and it might just be to far gone, I'll uploads some pictures in a few minutes.

well i knew there was some rust in the scuttle area as i had seen this

    [IMG][/IMG]

i then went inside and peeled back the carpet and found this

    [IMG][/IMG]

Now im new to this whole restoration stuff and im learning as I go, so in peoples opinion is this repairable? its in such a hard location to get to, even thinking i might have to remove some of the scuttle to get to it.

    what do people think?
