Cheers Jimbob, yes the Shocks are very good, Bilstiens, think they are B4s. the GSi handled really well on them, like it was on rails.
The wheels are something different from the GM family, I think I have only seen 2 other novas with them on excluding any I have owned!

Have now got the Nova back from the bodyshop to allow the fitment of the Alloys I have. although it is nothing major I would have cocked it up, plus 5 year warranty on it as well!

SO following on from the weekends work I have found that although it has been lowered the shocks are still standard hence why the front sits a lot higher. Plus the drivers side front arch needs to be cleaned up as well.

IMO if the wheels were changed & the grill then it'd look really good

Which wheels are you on about? the 5 spokes or the red steels? I've tried my GTE grill on it against the one fitted and tbh the GTE one didn't really inspire me. Might try it again at some stage.

Not a lot been posted on this recently. been refurbing the Dampers ready to go on. Fitting the Piper Stainless system that was fitted to the GSi. Found that the 4 branch of the 1.6 fits the 1.2 and that it has a hole in it where the 4 pipes join....can fix it on the outside but no chance on the bit in the middle! So have ordered a Ashley competition 4 branch, 10m of Exhaust heat wrap and some new exhaust bolts.

So, this might be something that some of you might like, other might not. Couple of the guys at work are shooters so I thought I would ask to see if I can get 16 Spent cartridges which were hand to me last week,

plan was to fit them over a set of Nut caps, however the cap and cartridge are the same size so tried without the caps.

Bit Long, so needed to cut them down

Some rough guess work and the length is spot on. Left 2 little tabs to fold back inside when fitting them so they are a tight push fit. not yet taken the car for a run to see how they fair on a drive.
    Will see how they go.

So small update, had this turn up in the post. Nick J built Wiper Motor with a Carbon Fibre base.

    Before

    After

Then as some will have noticed, the refurb work on the Shocks. Well the end results
    Rears

    Fronts

    Front before fitting

    Front After fitting

and while I was looking round in the garage I came across a box, which had some chromed parts in. thought it would be rude not to fit some of them.

So what is next, Well there is the Anti roll bar and tie bars to get painted, Refurbish the V6 brakes and GSi Brake servo. there will also be some rust removal from the drivers side.
