I think you need to redo the seat rails lots lower looking at that mock up.

    Parts look great. Nice gearbox.

I think they look worse in the photo. They're positioned quite nicely IMO, and the nav side one is quite deep so you sit very low within the seat. TBH, the one on my side is fine for me as if it were any lower you'd be compromising what you see really

    Thanks though

All good if your helmet clears then. Just trying to save you the grief I'm having currently cutting out my seat rails! Easier to adjust up on side mounts than down once painted.

Good point, I'll take my lid with me next time I'm there. Thanks for that

Agree with Ian, I was surprised how much was needed to take me down to a suitable position. Ended up cutting into the floor

Cool, I'll check with my lid on next time I'm down in the garage. Like I say, the seating position is nice where it is (could be a tad lower, but not enough to warrant re-doing the rails). We'll see!

Was also going to mension the seat hight but didnt want to sound like a **** . im only 5ft3 and had my old seat sat directly onto were you have your tubes . and my skid lid still used to hit the roof over bumps ect . iv gone even lower with my new seat but could do with dropping the steering wheel a tad more aswell now

Update on the helmet situation: Helmet clears!........ But the top of the helmet is higher than the top of the cage So the ralis will be being re-done. Thanks to all who spotted it, I would have carried on obliviously.

Slight progress update: taking 2 pairs of hubs to Pro-tec to be machined for the Audi bearings this week too.
