mk2 1.2 merit 36,000 miles. completely standard.
finally getting round to selling my nova, only selling because i fancied something a bit bigger/faster.
it's completely Standard, only 36,000 miles from new, Full Service History, serviced last december just needing a new handbreak cable and a couple of wheel bearings, MOT until April 2015(NO advisories on past MOT), Tax until end of this month (august 2014). Garaged and owned by 1 elderly lady owner for 20 years before me, until March 2013(24,000miles). i've done 12,000 miles in the last 16 months or so and it has driven perfect, even started fine in the middle of winter covered in snow. the interior is immaculate, the front seats have only ever twice been sat in, it's always had seat covers. the paintwork isn't perfect, there are a few small scratches and stone chips, the car is starting to show very slight signs of rust but it is nothing major, the boot, battery tray and under the bonnet (general rust spots) are all completely solid with no rust.
i have sanded down, treated, primed and touched up two patches of surface rust in front of the rear arches.
the tyres are the original tyres on the car when it was made, the tread on one of the tyres is running low but it is still legal.
the only bad bits are the odd small bits of rust starting to show through (barely noticable(see pictures)) and an aftermarket exhaust that i had on the car has slightly melted the bottom of the rear bumper, again this isn't noticeable unless you look right underneath the bumper, and the break do judder a tiny bit but this isnt particularly noticable.
the car is way too good to be turned into a donor/rally/grasstrack car so if thats what you are after you are in the wrong place
