    Default alternator wiring

Morning all. Im currently doing an x14xe conversion on my nova. However like a twonk when removing my old engine i just cut the loop connector off the wires going to starter and alternator. Now im confused as to what goes where

I have a red and black wire. A thick red tab wire which i know goes onto the positive side of the starter. I know there should be an exciter wire for the starter also. I also remember a yellow and brown wire i believe.

Anyone able to shed some light. Muchos grasias xx

The thick red goes to the starter with a thinner red to the alternator, red/ black is the starter trigger and the last wire will be to the alternator back to the dash as a warning light iirc

Have had a quick look at the drawings from 1985 models as am guessing it not a car made any earlier...
their is a 4 mm red that goes to the alternator, a 4 mm brown for the earth and a blue and wite that goes to the dash light...
what year is it and what other colours of cables have you got.....
could 1 be the oil pressure switch ?
