    Default Mk1 Shell - Ex-Trackdaynova

Well known Shell ... Everyone must have seen this at somepoint.

I've owned it for about 6 years or something now and it's sat stored in a barn , sadly i'm not going to get round to doing this - too many other commitments.

There it is in the background ... It's still solid and a very good base for a fantastic car . Check out Trackday Nova's thread for all the details and pictures of the condition it was in when it was stripped

    I paid 600 , so i'll take 600 . Lancashire/Cumbria . Needs a trailer.

It's not totally rolling - It has a front windsreen and a rear beam with wheels, so can be picked up at the front and maneouvered about by a couple of people.

It's got all panels, but the Bootlid, doors and Bonnet have been modified to take Perspex/Polycarb and Pins. Note, he did glance it on a tire wall before i bought it, so one side is a little rippley and rear arches need repair panels. Being 100% honest here, but it is a very very solid genuine 16,000 Mile shell (or something silly like that, i'll have to check the picture of the speedo) .

In terms of Spec.. Roughly the following ..

    Engine Bay Stitch Welded
Harry Hockley Plate kit welded throughout the shell.
Chassis leg boxed out to accept alternator
    2.0 16v Ready
Rear spring seats were all modified
Spread plates welded through for 6 point roll cage
    Internal Gear linkage
    Internal Brake Lines
    Internal Fuel Lines

These two were taken when i picked it up.. And it's been sat since so should be in near enough condition - minus some dust and further minimal deterioration .

Last photo shows the shell when it was originally purchased. Very low mileage, Very Clean. After that it had track and minimal road use i believe.

Unfortunately i don't ... It's been sat for Five years , and will need attention to the LHS and both rear arches, although it is very solid and low mileage apart from that. Not many shells knocking about like this..
