Has anyone any ideas why my new ATE calipers won't fit ?
ordered some TCA 1467/8 reconditioned ones and found that the piston part of caliper is too close to the driveshaft and I can't get near the bolts that hold here on.
many moons ago I upgraded my solid discs to vents and got hold of some(was told GTE) bridging bits to allow for the vented disc set up.

thinking I just needed the GTE replacements it seems they don't fit....
did they change the hub set up or am I missing something?

    thanks in anticipation.

It is hitting the driveshaft at the back of the hub, so won't get near the holes to bolt it on???

You have no carriers, they come seperately to the caliper body. When purchasing exchange ones, you only get the body. You will have to get the carriers from a scrapyard

I think you are right on this as my banjo bolt went very tight as if wrong thread so will get some of these same time as carriers if possible.

You should have two parts to the caliper like this...

The caliper body & carrier(These are GTE 16v so slightly bigger but same setup)

Are your calipers for vented or solid discs? Corsa B and Astra Mk3 will have the carriers you need.
