Intermitant fuel gauge

So my fuel gauge is itermitant and think it could be dodgy earth where do i find the earth for my fuel gauge ? Or sender ? Thnz

If its a twin plug it disappears into the car loom and earths in a crimp along with rear lights. If its a single plug the tank itself is eathed to the chassis.

Iam having issues with my fuel guage too except mine aint working at all. Ive swapped it over for a spare nothing still. Also put another pcb on still nothing what could be wrong? Could it be the sender itself.
