Default Group A rally nova rear blade anti roll bar

Hi I am looking for pictures of the adjustable blade rear antiroll bars as fitted to the works group a Novas back in the early 90s. Mainly interested in how and where they were mounted, An Internet search turned up a link to an eBay ad ffrom Colin smith who
posts here selling a replica but I couldn't see any photos as the listing was long gone. Anyone got any saved? Originals or reproductions! Cheers

I have a copy of the original group A (?) build manual I could dig out if that helps? Not sure if it'll have pics or not?

The build manual doesn't cover stuff like that sadly, that was more for the lower spec cars you could build yourself. Cheers

The adjustable grp A anti roll bars used to mount off the chassis legs at the rear and hang the bladed sections down to adjustable drop links which used to attach to the rear beam.

cheaper to just buy the VX220 setup from them, and make it fit

The rear ARB on my car is not the GPA type. It was a home-brewed version done by BTEC Racing who built the car.

I had a batch of 10 replicas made of the pukka-GPA rear bar, but they were all sold off many years ago. I don't have any photos now, and I'm racking my brains to think of someone who has a Nova with one fitted.

The Works build manual didn't cover it as it was done as a homologation upgrade for the very last of the tarmac cars.

I have a feeling it might be pictured in the homologation papers, which I have somewhere, although I can't put my hands on them immediately as they're in storage after my last house move.
To contact me please use E-MAIL to colinesmith@aol.com.

thousands of Nova (plus other Vauxhall and motorsport parts) available.

id be very interested in seeing those papers colin, as i have a set of AP calipers that i am assured are original group A nova items. this would make sense as they are lug mounted direct to a standard hub, no radial mount brackets and ive never seen another set like them, would be nice to see if they are on the later homologation papers. would also love to see the original type arb for reference too.

the car i am wanting to put an ARB on just now is likely to become a rallycross car so i have a fairly free hand to make something that suits me.
