Awesome video, really impressive little nova, i bet that guy in the focus was getting so pissed off, literally one little mistake and you could of been past..
I may be wrong, but were you having shifting issues onto the straight?
Might be worth looking at that sequential shift setup in Collins thread.?

Your car could well be one of the best braking & cornering car there on that circuit. I would be concerned about going 4th into 5th & how often it gets missed; last thing you want is dropping the clutch having gone into 3rd.

I've done a few laps round brands & your car is properly quick!

I am not allowed a device that makes the shift sequential without moving up a class, the linkage needs a bit of work but this was the first time it's been used in anger since the rebuild ,so it's nothing we can't fine tune .Ian in the focus is known in the paddock for not being afraid to swap paint ,I am trying to be sensible this year and finish races so no point really making an optimistic move ,tbf he was probably holding me up a bit ,if you notice when I do try a speculative move at Druids I lose a lot of ground but have got back by the time we are at Clearways

I did the 4 th into 3 rd while flat in the first race so was going steady in the second race ,the linkage needs some tweaking ,but ultimately the box / linkage is the weak link in the car ,I am still on the look out for a hewland dog box like Ben and Lee have ,if that can't be sourced then I will save for a Sadev ,but don't really want to move up a class

The XE would take me up a class, but technically mine is 2050cc as its an 87mm bore.

Not sure how important that is?

I am not sure ,I know you are allowed a very slight over bore ,just not sure how much ,it would be good to have another nova racing .

Just took a look at the regs. Class D 2021cc - 3000cc. Then i would move up to C because of the non production engine.

I would say just tell them it's a two litre the only time you will have an issue is if you win the championship as last year they stripped the engines to check
