As said if your doing a full rep, exterior styling, interior and engine change then the fact that 'gsi' doesn't appear on the log book is nothing I would lose any sleep over. It's a very high financial penalty for those 3 letters on a piece of paper.

Hopefully you've bought the car for your own enjoyment/love of the car and not as an investment.

Definitely not an investment. I'd love a gsi but as we all know they are thin on the ground so maybe this is the way? Or do I keep my sr and buy a gsi project? Even they seem to sell for a fortune when they come up

    Keep your SR

far far far more rare than a gsi or gsi rep,
success is only limited by a weak mind

That's the thing bazil I know what I've got and how rare it is etc which is part of the dilema.

Yeah I wouldnt swap an RS turbo for a ropey GSi project (it is a project right), not when you have another Nova.

As for replicas, no worries imo, Nova shells are near enough all the same. Most Novas are like Triggers' Broom anyway.

Series one turbos are pish anyway, the only good thing about them is their value,
