    Default Where to get a full car acid dipped?????

    HI I have recently bought a nova with only 7500 miles from new its in good condition, I want to get it dipped and e coated so that it lasts for another 20 years or so.....

    DO any of you lads know where is best to take it???? cheers.

    Surface processing or central blast cleaning the latter I've heard is much better though! That said though if the base is really good I wouldn't bother just repair what it needs and it will last anyhow!

    It's not cheap, pals just had his evo 6 done for 2.5k! Depends how far you're going with the project and what state the shell is in, got any pics?

    I had a new shell and had it acid dipped, wish I had never bothered. Steer well clear of acid dipping, just use a good cavity wax like Dinitrol

    What put you off the acid dipping?

    The fact it went to them undamaged with no corrosion on it and came back damaged and with corrosion!

    Thanks for the replies, I will have a good think about it, it does have the odd scab here and there but the major nova rot spots are like new.....
    I will start a project build as soon as i get started....cheers leigh

    No I wouldn't have been too happy either, can I ask what company you used as I have this planned for a couple of projects I have , but I have seen good results on other cars, depends who you use I suppose
