wide wheels on a mk1

Hi there. Just wondering how wide I can go with a set of wheels on my new mk1 gl? Looking at either a nice set of bbs's or some banded Vauxhall wheels. Either 14" or 15" Will be fitting coilovers and want a nice low stance without running into arch problems.

Any info would be much appreciated

Ive got 14" 5.5j astra steels on and they are close to the arches, if you want deep dish id advise on streched tyres aswell

I had 7s on my mk1 with 195/40s, albeit 16" diameter and the arches had been heavily rolled on the back. but it was -90mm
