i could find out at the weekend if you would like? mine defiantly has the fuel pump lobe as i'm running mechanical pump still.
as im sure your curious it's a 12st, piper 1600 fast road cam kit (- vernier pulley) twin 40's, 1300 421 cast manifold and a sport backbox, with the std 1200 4spd box,

the cam seemed to lengthen my gearing considerably, change into 4th gear at 70 and it'd bog. she preferred the change up at just over 100... on a private road of course...
anyways it was 72.5 bhp and 70 ft pounds of torque, on the rollers and at 7k in 4th on the rollers hit 135 mph i have a printout somewhere

It would be very handy if you could find out I was going to have a play with the 12st to see what I could get out of it

Apparently the 1300 crank and rods can make a lazy engine

Sounds interesting... My 1400 isn't going to be much different to your set up. 14NV, Kent AST2 cam (when I can find and afford one ), Weber twin 40's, 4 branch exhaust manifold, 2.5" straight through exhaust system and an F13CR... Should make for an interesting set up. I will eventually get a new head with some work done to it, thinking big valve and some polishing

I've been told that the 1200 block is shorter, but can't confirm it..

    a 1300 with a rebore & 1200 pistons definitely makes a brisk little engine.

I have measured the height of both the 13SB and 12ST externally and the 12ST block is considerably shorter.
