So I picked up this little beauty on Friday from daveo on here. She's a 1.0 saloon and pretty clean too, coil overs on front and springs on the back and wolfrace slotmags

Well done you lucky bugger, dont think much of the wheels but she looks a tidy motor. Think you should get scotts ats cups on it
Cheers Chris, Quite like the wheels, only thing is part with them for would be a set of bbs splits
Will be worth a try, will have to ask him
If I had the space I probably would have bought that myself, to relive my first car. Look after it!
Quite a bit of progress on the saloon the other night, Got my N/S speaker working (didn't work before) was down to wiring in the end but while I was in there I changed it for something a little better. I got the interior lamps working upon oping the doors, replaced the heater control bulb and fitted a replacement wiper stalk as the old one just flapped around and didn't operate the washers, it had been wired up to a button witch no longer worked.
New wiper stalk didn't realise it wasn't mk1 so will be on the lookout for a mk1 stalk still
The button it used to operate off (my hand looks really weird in the pic )
A contributing fact as to why the speaker didn't work, someone has cut off the plug for some reason. anyone got a new unmolested loom the wanna part with?
For some reason there are two aerials, it has an after market one but I'm guessing this is the original the only thing is if they went to all the trouble to wire a new onw in why is the old one still in there? aerial no 1
aerial no 2
Replacement speaker
and a pic of both of my novas together (bonnet is open)
I'd start agin with all that wiring. Get rid of the connectors and solder the wires. Makes them less bulky. Good looking Novas you have there.
