    Mine is hinged, was no messing about at all. You will be furious when you take it off and stand on it, or the wind blows it over!

    Same deal with the bonnet though isn't it. No real need to remove the bolt lid that often, Iain had to cut his hinges down and re-weld, as did Ben.

    Possibly this bootlid isn't as good a copy as the one you have. To be honest the fit on mine is dreadful!!

    Turn the g.r.p. ring over under the roof vent scoop , it is meant to stick up to stop water going down the hole , drill small hole in the back of the scoop to let water out , unless in the rain inner duct will get full of water , and your going to get wet!

    It's just there to see if the hole is big enough, then we'll tiger seal it on, we need to add the drain in this week as there isn't one yet. I would imagine I'll be taping it up in the wet. It's a bit of a crap design.

    Yeah they look ideal for bumpers too but the price is a little bit prohibitive.
