That is a horrendously unflattering photo in my defense. Usually I look way camper.

So went to pick this up today

Alpha coat just to protect it, can be welded through so wont hinder Ben doing his job

Engine bay isn't too sad, no surprises here, we knew the battery tray had been very poorly repaired, few other little holes, but again nothing we didn't know about

Underside and rear suspension mounts are in in top shape

Both rear arches need work, but what's new!!

All tucked up under a waterproof cover ready for when Ben has space, which we hope will be a few weeks time

    I am shockingly handsome, thankyou!!

It's not a great spec as those that follow know already

    Basic run down

    XE on throttle bodies
    Hanger 30 adjustable front suspension
    Hanger 30 rear disc beam
    Half rear cage
    Seam welded engine bay
    OBP pedal box
    fuel tank in the boot
    Steel boot, bonnet and doors

    That's about it.

The new shell will be different but again there's no reason we can't get to under 800kg

Was a good day ,the Nova boys having it in the P,ing rain when most were tucked up in the garages. It certainly was slippery though!

It was slippier than a bucket of eels covered in olive oil.

I know it looks really slow in the videos but I don't think I could have gone any quicker, just reviewing my wet lap videos and almost every lap has a correction in it at some point, oversteer at Paddock Hill and understeer through clearways. Whatever though it was a top day.

I make no comment about the dry weather only drivers, they need to grow a pair!!

Default House's ITB XE build and re-build

Back for a 4 wheel alignment, new machine better system for holding it on the wheel

    Here's what we started with

Bit of mucking around but got it pretty good, this was before we set the front toe

It seems the new rear beam has inadvertently given me some rear toe out, we've always tried to avoid toe out as it's meant to be scary, admittedly it's not a lot of toe out but car feels really good so it's staying!!

Then a nice little pic showing the front camber

    Cool build mate!

What suspension are you on mate? I'm new to Novas and looking at Gaz but unsure on spring rates yet

Looks like you guys had fun!

Brands is a great circuit, last time i was there i got to hoon a Ferrari Cali round it. Came very close to getting punted off by a dude in an F430 that was driving like a joy rider!
