Well that got expensive quickly!!!
Nice collection of parts
Update.
We did Mallory a few months back. Broke 4th gear in the first session.
Croft coming up in a weeks time, figured we should sort the box out.
Bought a load of quaife internals for an SCCR, didn’t have time to build the box up.
Bought an F20, took the car to headquarters and in 3 hours Iain and I had the box out and the new one in and working.
Also took advantage of the new facilities and Iain stuck some rubber on the new wheels that have been in storage for nearly a year
Bit too wide at the front! However as this is our test bed for things on the new shell, it’s meant we can get Ben to adjust a set of front wings and add a little extension to cover these, we’ll also roll the rears, so the new shell won’t have a problem!!
In order for Mallory to work, Iain dreamt these up
And he’s gonna roll the rear arches too!!
All a bit of fun!!

The 5 door wings work very well with wider wheels I use them on my drag car
If you are using 5dr front wings on the new shell House you might as well do the 2dr quarters too.
Round arches are a temporary fix and are 100% not being painted.
Box swap
House hard at work
New goodies for me to fit for him mmmmm
My weekend consists of getting them to fit.
Fair shout. If you can get them on and not rubbing (even when hot and mid bend) then good job.
Mine are the way they are because there’s a risk of contact. It did actually happen in the last race so I have a dented rear arch but was able to continue.
I’m only running 195’s mate so hoping that’ll help.
Iain put the saloon arches on the front and we think we like it!! Haha so they might stay now!!
I’m loathed to do the rears, Ben has done all the work to the rears with new repair panels and it would be such a shame to undo all that work to saloon the rear too. We’ll see how we get on.
