    So the winter rebuild has begun on the Beloved Mk1 Saloon.
    As i am not selling this car any time soon, i decided it was time for full rebuild and make it as mint as it was when it came out of the factory, with some minor modifications.
    To be honest, the modifications to the body are that minor i would need to point them out to you

    Started all well so far, all the rust has been removed and repair panels have been welded in and made flush.

    Today is the day that all the windows come out for the major progress, pictures below

    It wasn't bad mate, but the rear arches were starting to get quite bad with the rust. the drivers side was starting to go through into a hole, so i decided to have the hole thing done!
    Didn't want any miss-match paint all over the car

    Thanks mate, these pics were with a Nikon D3100, i use a HDR Software that refines the picture a bit more

    Good stuff. Best time of year for bodyshop bookings..? Didn't know saloons have such a small number plate recess in the bootlid..
