    Default under seat speakers

Has anyone got any experience with these? are they any good? thinking of a pair for the nova so I don't have to drill my door cards for a set of speakers, also going to have a sub in the boot and 2 better speakers in the dash if that helps thanks guys

    ive tried something slightly similar.

the sound you get isn't amazing as the space is confined, the noise gets bounced around and trapped.

you can try it to see what you think, but I wouldn't recommend it.

if you don't have any back seats, you can fit certain size boxed speakers on the floor behind the seats (facing upwards), which sound better, but still not as good as the noise coming straight at you from the front.

ive always thought that some pod speakers screwed to the dash would sound pretty good in a 2.1 setup with a sub at the rear. altho would look kinda chav and pretty ugly stuck out like goal posts

yeah, I don't want to drill door cards or anything that'd look out of place. Witch is why I want to hide them

Hidden behind the door cards like mine?
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

I was never that bothered about having a full install just wanted to help out the little speakers a bit, ended up getting a sub and amp cheap and just run them in the boot, might do a better stealth install when I restore it

From back in the day I remember Fraz (Fraser McRae) had a nice sounding 2.1 setup in his Mk2. What he did was, he simply added a pair of tweeters to the OEM dash speakers, using a passive crossover of some sort running straight off the head unit. Worked a treat, he even got good marks from Jon Walsh in the sound off contest. Admitted, tweeters can't be hidden easily but at least you don't have to hack up your doorcards.
One day I'll start a build thread. One day...
