    Default Exhaust hanger

This is probably a foolish question, but anyway.. im trying to get my mid section off and i cant remove the rubber hanger (just after the cat)

There seems to be a solid metal band on top that conncts the rubbers to the pipe (seems silly if i need new rubbers?) and where it hangs on the top the gap is about 5/6mm which seems far to small to get the rubber through. I may be missing something, i dont have access to a ramp at the minute and with the car being low i cant really see that much. Im sure anyone with exprience will know a way

They have 2 tabs that you may need to bend out the way and spray with wd40 makes rubbers slide off .
Get some paint on the rust while the exhaust is out the way!
