    Default Making fully braided brake hoses

    Hi I am thinking about making fully braided brake hoses for my nova it's a 1988 nova gte does any one know what size fittings I need? Thanks dan

    Wouldn't bother matey. If have a leak in the line its a nytmare to find and with that much hosing, you will get a spongy pedal. Better off re-doing in copper and run usual braided brake likes to the caliper.

    Why do they list/use the braided method in the competition build manuals instead of just a copper/kunifer line? Is there a reason the pedal feel is awful?

    any flexible pipe will swell more than copper pipe, which in turn gives a flaccid pedal. Won't matter how good the quality of hose is, it will still be there and will get worse the longer the runs are.
