Someone told me that the ecotec cavs/calibra's use the same relay, not sure how true it is but may narrow your search down a touch!
As long as the part numbers match (early and late ones are the same btw) then youre laughing
Thanks for your help with finding the relay. Our scrappy's around here (Devon) are not the greatest and I couldn't find anything so I went to a local supplier and sourced a new one for £23. I've swapped'em over but still no joy?!
It's obvious the old relay is done for as its melted around a terminal and was 'clicking' and going crazy on ignition but with the new one fitted it just turns over with no boom! I can here the fuel pump working after its turned over so is my next port of call to check wiring and the pump?
Thanks
I am going to try changing the CTS also, as under half throttle it was very 'on/off' and I've read a dodgy CTS can potentially cause this? Is this the right one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/33081...ff14=83&ff19=0
Try and get a gen CTS is you can, aftermarket ones are very as nice i've found.
If you can here the pump prime then it's working.
