Default Find one of the first XE Novas in the uk for me!

Back in 1999 MW performance on my door step built a red Xe nova from a mint GTE.

It was face lifted, and was sold in 2000 to my friend, who is interested to know where it is.

It was last sold in 2004, it had a colour change to purple in 2009, and the reg was A16VNO.

It's correct reg is G83 UMB

It's still alive on HPI checks etc, 8 owners, one of the first Xe Novas in the uk.

Well if it was converted in 1999, it's not exactly a pioneer.

I realise this, however in 99 they weren't exactly common.

    I dunno about that.

1993/94 was about the earliest I can recall them being in magazines.
At around 1999/2000, I didn't buy them anymore, but I do recall the features and classifieds being full of XE and LET converted cars.

I remember going to donny show in 97 and the place was full of xe novas. It was like spot the stock one! I think Darren Horseman was the first by us to have an xe in a nova circa 95/96. I'm sure it was him that gave lofty the inspiration to stick one in his.

Iv got an old fast car mag, sure it's 1990, there's a nova xe in there that must be one of the first, I'm sure it's a sport too, and a couple of months later they featured another White one this time with an xe in the back power g the rear wheels!

Ive got a mag somewhere and im sure it had car quip converted 2litre 8valve nova from around `89.

The black Irmscher kitted Creg nova had a mk1 astra GTE engine fitted back in `85 iirc.
