    Default sealed mdf speaker boxes

has anyone messed about with this idea in the past, and knocked up a set or 2 ?

I was considering making some small mdf boxes to put speakers or components in, and was wondering how they might sound in a sealed box.

    cheers

You can buy them of ebay cheap enough, the 6x9 ones sound ok if you can't if you can't give them the infinity baffle they require

baffles you say, what are those ?

i was thinking of making 2 rectangular cubed boxes (shallow-ish) that would house 2 sets of 10cm speakers in.

13cm components would possibly sound sweet, but im not sure if ive got room to fit that size, might have to keep the design thin with the 10's.

do the inside of the boxes need deadening or anything ?
