been browsing on here for a while now and joined a bit ago so thought i would share my project

i have a vauxhall nova 1.0 life on a j reg one owner from new full service history stored since 2006 said it was a non runner but i added a tenner of petrol and a charged battery and fired up and ran but i removed that engine and bought a c20xe early type
i am in the process of rebuilding the c20xe and have changed the main bearings big end bearings added arp con rod bolts full head gasket set and sump and bottom end gaskets new water pump new timing belt and pulleys new piston rings full stainless bolt set for sump rocker plug and cam belt covers resprayed/powder coated rocker cover plug cover cam cover and clutch plates
i have bought the rally strengthening kit and strengthend the lower arms
bought 2.0 cavalier brakes for the front and braided brake line set
bought rear spoiler, 6 set clocks, side skirts, cav slab alloys which have been fully powder coated black and laqured, side skirts are sprayed black
im respraying the full car white when the time comes after all the welding etc

here are a few pics hope they work
