    Get some more photos up!

You have removed a lot of strengthening by the looks of it - what sort of spec will it be when finished?

Start of my Hreg Autotest Nova build

Hi my name is Lee from Newcastle I bought my Vauxhall Nova reg H547 CAE ON 2/6/2004 from a guy in howdon after going to look at several this on seamed like the one with the most solid shell ( if there ever is one ? ). I bought the motor with the sole intention of using it to compete in the form of motorsport called Autotesting. It has been a labour of love for the past 7 years and I have prepared and set up the motor my self with a lot of trial on error along the way. Having loved every minute of it I thought I'd share the progress with you since I have been on here for a few years now (too busy working on them to be on the computer )

In 2011 after already having put new rear and front panels on after market rubbish (lesson learnt especially on a competition car) the front tie bar bracket completely pulled of the member. After re-welding and strengthening the front member there was nothing else to do apart from space framing the front end or the shell was scrap. I wasn't going to do that all you's know even the sound deadening is a job in its self to get off and I had done a lot more into this than that, ie plenty of grinding discs ha ha.
