    Default c16xe map senor wiring.

    Hey guys. Have fitted a c16xe and somewhere along the line the map sensor has been cut out.. ive sourced one from an astra but can anyone tell me in idiots terms what wires I should be connecting it to plug end? Cant see any spare wires anywhere. I hate wiring so sorry for the naf description

    C16xe's don't run a map sensor. They have an air flow meter.

    Sounds like you've an X16xe or X16xel engine, post pictures up of your engine.

    Its burgos old engine he said he thought It needed one. Its running lumpy so guessed that was why. Has airflow meter yea. Got a powerbox on it so guessed one of nippled went to mapp sensor but guess not haha

    When I say lumpy I mean it idles irratically

    Check for air leak around inlet, it could be drawing unmetered air which will cause erratic idle
