Scrap yards
Hi my corsa caught fire due to an electrical fault and the cars had it, I'm looking for a scrap yard to come and collect the car, but I want my coilovers off of it, wondering if they would still collect with no suspension (still has engine in ect)

Why not just ring and ask the scrap yard collecting it....
why not drag it down there, jack it up & remove the bits, then weigh it in?

Phone around, there will be one to collect, they probably won't give you any money as they will say the cost of collecting it equals what you'd get.
They will collect it with no suspension, my car I scrpped last year had nothing left bar the shell itself(including chasis legs as they had rusted away)

My local reclamet said there collect the car an price is £100, not too bad! Lol bloody hell! I didn't want to weigh it in with pretty much brand new coilovers on that's all to try an re-coup some money
