That would be quite amusing seeing you fit in a mini

Can't be much worse than getting in a Nova as long as the seats are mounted low theres plenty of room

How much hassle is involved in mounting the engine, sorting the linkage and fitting shafts etc?

Yeah they've done 20xe's in mini's for years, that would be nuts though!

My old old nova with the E16SE was nippy enough, would be wicked to have one in a mini!

I have a mate over here has a 1275gt with a 16 8v in it. Goes real well. His engine came from an astra and had a 3:9 final drive, i gave him a 3:74 which helped with the high engine revs due to the 12 inch wheels. Good luck with the build.

The only main issue was building the frame from scratch, took alot of head scratching and dimensions, the other thing was the engine mounts and gearlinkage as it all had to be fabricated.
Got the engine running today all plumbed in temp will host a video soon.
Just awaiting the fiberglassfront end been made and can measure up the radiator and fit a reverse alternator which should be fun

All custom andy, we've made it so the full subframe + engine can be removed by 4 bolts for easy access

Agreed, my mk3 Astra was quick with a C16se in it (far from slow at least!).. in a Mini I bet it's a bit of a rocket
