    If I had thought about it I would of stayed with a small block engine mate, just my opinion tho bud.

    This, get the earth sorted before you think of ripping the lump out, short drives where the engine possibly doesnt get up to temp or go very high in the rev range can cause condensation in the engine which can cause milky mayo deposits!

    And a poor earth will cause alsorts of running issues and gremlins, get that sorted and fire it back up to see what it does, if youre lucky it might just need a new earth (and all the others checking/replacing) and a service!

    Try the earths, clean the plugs but still be careful because if you have done damage to it you don't want to make things worse, the petrol soaked plugs will be from trying to start it all the time when you had trouble getting it running.

    very true will clean the plugs up for better spark.... i hope :P
