Default New Daily Project Vauxhall Cavalier SRI

    Yeap, yet another car

Basically i've wanted a Cavalier for quite a while now but had my mind ser on a early pre-factlift type, something abit special prehaps not poverty spec (Seen as how im 20 this year my insurance is starting to get nice and sensible) Anyways i saw this on Swapz advertised and as soon as i saw it i fell in love with it, but the guy wanted a RWD car to drift, so after a fair amount of messages back and forth faailing to negotiate a cash deal, i went out and bought my mates Volvo 340 with a welded diff for £550, drove it 180 miles or so down to the South Coast of Wales, and exchanged with the guy Never have i had to buy a car purely to swap it for one 3 hours later haha!

So anyways here she is, she's a K reg pre-facelift Vauxhall Cavalier SRI 2.0L 8v in white, extreamly clean for its age, rear disc conversion aswell as 5 stud conversion, lowered all round -60mm with Cavalier Turbo wheels, Full stainless steel Scorpion exhaust, GSI rear lights, GSI grille, aswell as few other bits and bobs. Its recently had a full head rebuild aswell as a new cambelt water pump etc with reciepts to prove aswell.

Anyways heres the pics, As it was advertised:

    nice looking motor !
she's perfect, i wouldnt even touch it myself, just clean it up and give her an oil change once every now and then

used to have a cav, there nice all rounders.
and the 2.0 8v is pretty bulletproof.

whats yours like at getting thrown from left to right to left again ?
any more than 2 turns in succession, and mine used to snap out kinda voilently, and fishtail all over the shop trying to get her back on track.
i do miss the luxury tho - power steering, electric windows, central locking

Nice looking car mate. I always fancied a cavalier but never got round to buying one.
Seemed to be a decent deal on your side anyway mate.
