Not a Nova I know but very similar. I have a Corsa B 1.0 99 reg that wont start. The car will turn over but not fire and also none of the ingition / dash lights come on when the keys is turned.

Check fuses.. i had this problem with a 97 corsa 1.2, turned out to be the ignition fuse
