    How much have you spun the steering wheel round? Might have Knackered the spiral connector for te airbag if its too far

    I think that bit will be f##ked then when i arrived the mrs was spinning the wheel like it was an amusement game.

    Corsa C airbag squibs are ten a penny on eBay anyway.

    Thanks for everyones help and advice, the car is getting dropped off later with a new steering rack fitted

    Happened to me in my sisters first car (thank god I was driving and not her). 70mph in outside lane of a1. Safe to say I s**t myself. Lucky didnt hit anything and managed to get it half off road. Bolt sheered in rack, aa guy put bolt in it to get me home but had to get a new bolt from vaux as its not just a regular bolt.

    I was in the bed of my mates 1948 V8 Chevy Stepside when he took it for a burn around the industrial estate his unit is on - then the column to rack UJ came off.

    I'm now sh!tting myself driving my Combo!
    The steering rattles and shakes like I only have 1 bolt in each wheel

    I just thought the wheels were out if balance :-/
