Default Vauxhall Nova GTE (Genuine) + 2.0L Redtop conversion + LPG

For Sale - Genuine Vauxhall Nova GTE

I won't bore everyone with too many details other than the specs. It is being sold because it was a bit of an impulse purchase last year and the car sharing with my dad hasn't quite worked out.. he can't get into it because it's too low and his knee is dodgy.

Previous owner was an LPG fitter hence the conversion.

    Here are the details:

Nova GTE running on LPG (TFL Congestion Charge Exempt). It is definitely a GTE - (Genuine in log book)

    1989 Plate

XE 2ltr 16v red top (Taken from an Astra GTE- pre lambda sensor engine, so no catalytic convertor is required)

150 bhp (Dynamometer read out sheet present)

    Coscast head

    Competition clutch

    4-branch stainless steel manifold

New Powerflow full stainless steel exhaust system fitted (cost £325 receipt present)

This engine is completely leak free (unique for a red top engine)

    Alloy15 inch wheels

    Tyres 195/45 R 15 (6-8 mm tread)

    Coilovers

Lowered 100mm (4 inches) (still goes over road humps)

2ltr brakes with new pads new grooved disks, new drums cylinders shoes and springs

Recent bare metal respray and rebuild (original factory colour)

    Replacement doors

    Replacement tailgate

    Replacement bonnet

Engine bay fully seam welded and reinforced

    No rust

    Factory fitted sun roof

    Factory fitted electric windows

Delocked and central locking fitted (front doors)

    Clock reads 13706 miles

    Tax till May

    Tested till June

Fully certified professional LPG conversion by CLS Duel Fuel Ltd of Durham

    The conversion cost £1500

The car running on LPG does approx. 200 miles on £20.00

This car is on the UKLPG register as an approved installation

This allows the owner to registered it with Transport For London (TFL) then it is exempt from the congestion charge the registration charge is £10.00 (a saving if used daily of £2590.00 per year)

    The LPG certificate is present.

This car is still shown as a 1600cc in the logbook.

I'm looking for around £3000 for it but may go a bit lower to a loving home. I can only guess how much has been spent on this car.. probably £10k+ over the years.

PM me on here or send an email to sacreman@gmail.com if you want any more details.

Also, if there are any events near London people would recommend I attend (to advertise the car and meet some fellow Nova enthusiasts) let me know

Not interested in any part exchanges, sorry, I have too many cars already.

    Thanks,

    Steven
