Most don’t bother putting in the cross brace again so fair play for going to the effort. Are you going to weld a top in to box it off?

Is the conversion to IRS allowable with an MSA Category 1 logbook? I ask as MSA Bluebook has the following line under rallying..

48.4.1. The suspension must retain the operating principle and utilise the mounting points as provided by the vehicle manufacturer.

I know you've done a lot of work on it, but wouldn't want you to finish fabrication and get caught out is all.

    Paul..

Hi Paul from what we've seen this should be ok as it's been done before on novas that have an MSA logbook 1 and harry hockly do it to there swifts and similar.

Under the impression it more means that turret location is not allowed to be altered and similar to prevent things such as inboard setups but will see if can speak to a scrutineer

    Thanks
