    Ill wait and see, it's defs something else to think about. I'll just order up billet alloy through work and take it from there. I'll see how heavy the original stuff is when we remove it.

    Yes well if it's built from original spec you have options to change later plus a little weight not the end of the world at that particular part of the car plus you only need to copy the oe arms for machining then

    That would be a good plan just build it to the original spec then machine parts to suit. Don't know if alloy would be strong enough unless it's some sort of aero grade.

    Me ether I know Evo and integra type r run front aloy plus most Audi models so must be doable just the grade needed to find out

    Starting to to think I should have restored this gsi and bought another shell to cut up but hey ho.

    Still no progress either, I've been told it will be started on again this week coming. Fingers crossed as I want it build by summer.
