    Technically 'rust' i.e iron oxide is heavier, even dry, but the holes where the metal used to be are lots, lots lighter

    Can you weld yourself? might be a good time to get learning! Its all repairable even though its disheartening finding so much rot, its hard to know where to start! been there

    I can do a bit. I work in a maching/ weld shop so I could prob get one of the welders to help me out. It is disheartening, everytime I remove a bit of trim something is rotten.

    Picked up a few repair panels for it today so I now have most of the bits to get the body looking like new again.
