    cheers southie and peester na i like the gsi bumpers on it makes it a little different from the rest but still kindda original. i am pushing for 160bhp dont know if ill get it or not but am pushing it to the limit. i am a engine recondioner to trade and been specialist with engines for the past 16 year. so pretty clued up boys. but if she blows then ill just have to start again

    Paintwork looks great, good job. Not keen on the mk2 bumpers unfortunately.

    Thanks for the comment boys. A lot of people say the same about bumpers
    But I really like the gsi ones plus it makes mine slightly different from the rest
    The next nova I want build is a mk1 3 door loon sport replica with a let in it.
    Just to be different again

    Nice build mate, i didn't know you could use T45's on a 1.6?
    And i think what people are trying to say is that the mk2 bumpers dont look right with the mk1 grill as it dont line up fit wise etc..

    I do agree there is a big gap but somehow I'll close it over.and a lot of people doubted me on this and other places when I said I was going to take 40s off and put 45s on. They were jetted for a golf gti. So with lots of time testing the car I finally got it setup. People said it will blow so I done about 3000 mile including a trip to pvs over 800 mile wi 4 body's in it and full wi stuff. And it easily sat at 130 a lot of the time. The only problem is it drinks the fuel like an old alcoholic

    Well boys been a while since I have been on here as I been working on my latest project my mk1 cavy let. But that's not to say I been neglecting my nova cause she too has overgone a new transformation including an xe up front and lots of other touches pics to follow shortly
