Considering mine with Adrian Flux is £1,650 on a 1.3 sr I'd say it was really good.
Ever type "stolen" into MLR search?
Evo's are 2nd most stolen car next to impreza's I believe, except impreza's are stolen by monkeys joyriding and Evo's are stolen by pro's in the middle of night, jacked on streets etc... some proper nasty stories on there, one where a guy lost all 3 of his cars, Evo had a top end alarm/tracker so they torched it, the fire caught onto his daily driver, which snapped the handbrake cable and that then rolled across the street into his project car which also set alight!!
Insurers nightmare I imagine.
edit: Also £250 for anything is really cheap, my mum has just paid nearly that at 50+ on a 1.3 Honda Jazz
Was a limited special evo VI iirc, was only six of them made/tuned/built by a top tuning place, they couldnt get it going 'apparently' so ti was fired, took out the 205 GTi track car next to it, and rolled across the road into his audi RS4 estate.....
Never seen a car roll once fired, as usually by the time brakes fail due to cable failure, the wheels/tyres are already gone, but hey-ho this isnt the place to argue that as it was years ago, but yes, evo's are highly stolen cars, a guy on here had his jacked and burnt out one night after work not too long ago aswell
Was thinking about switching the GT4 for an EvoVI. Put that idea in the bin then
