Basically this is how I made a three bolt rear mount (ideal for big block conversions as it is stronger plus has the correct spacing for your engine), I started with a cardboard template of the bolt pattern from the big block boxes. I made this by just simply rubbing grease on the gear box face then placing a piece of card over to give me a basic shape. I then basically joined the dots up to make a triangle and added about 8mm all the way round. Once that was done I used the template on a piece of 10mm steel, I think some people use 12mm but I have never had an issue with 10mm.

Cut the shape out and drilled with a 12.5mm drill.

Once that was done I started cutting up the nova mount.

Like so,

This is to allow for the addition bolt head and washer.

Clean up.

And welded said plate.

and the inside.

And fitted. Don't forget you need two shanked m12x90mm bolts as the mount is space by 10mm plus a 12mmx30 bolt for the added hole.

Yes I know you can buy the 4 piece kit cheap but this is something different that is as strong if not stronger as it is welded. Plus its very easy to make from bits you may have laying around.
